Happy !!  Today was the 1st day of our 1st art show together for CALGARY ABSTRACT COLLECTIVE.    It went well.   Michelle and I worked at the show today.    I was fortunate to have sold 2 of my pieces. !!  Its very exciting for me. !!   Hopefully the other gals will sell some also this week.   I dont go back to "work " at the show until Wed and Thursday this week.  So will see how it is doing by then .

HERE WE GO !! 
CALGARY ABSTRACT COLLECTIVE - HAVING OUR 1ST SHOW THIS COMING WEEK.!! 
COME ON DOWN TO SCOTIA CTR IN THE FOYER  ON 7TH AVE AND 2ND ST.   WE WILL BE THERE  ALL WEEK  - SEPT 30 TO OCT 4.
WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT JUST BEING THERE !!
I THINK MY DAYS THERE WILL BE MONDAY SEPT 30 , TUES AND WED.  BUT I JUST MIGHT SNEAK AWAY ONE DAY TO VISIT ACROSS THE STREET AT MY OLD STOMPING GROUNDS -  BMO FCC DOWNTOWN AND SEE WHO I CAN FIND STILL WORKING THERE !! 

Home 1 week already from 3 weeks vacation.
Am out every day this week -  so busy.
The art group  I am in  - Calgary Abstract Collective is having several art shows coming up .
We are all getting our work ready for these.....and suddenly we can put more art into a downtown business.   So tonight I have gotten 10 pieces ready to deliver there on Friday morning.   I know the other 3 in my group are doing the same.   This is a big thing for our group as each if us can deliver anywhere from 7 , 8 or more depending on the sizes and how they will fit once we are there. 

We have very active group and things are going well for us as to the exposure that we wish to have.  I will update things as they go along.   Right now  I am going back to the art pieces that I have to deliver and making the tags for them.     Work doesnt wait !!

This is the saying since the 1920's.

This is where we are vacationing right now and we come here every year since at least the 80's !
Situated between 2 mountain ranges and in a valley - you can't find a more peaceful & beautiful area to visit. Many other towns  are within close driving distance for us to visit, shop, sightsee, golf, etc.  We walk the town parks, do a lot of shopping and just relax !!

And the lakes !!  Pristine and clear beneath the mountains.  Awesome to go for a day and watch the people, boaters, etc,  in the sun & fun ! 

Then there's the Mineral Hot Springs at Radium and at Fairmont.  You just feel rejuvenated when you get out and have all kinds of energy !  n We're in love with htis  place. !!

If you haven't been - do make plans to come here in the future.
We are here for another 2 weeks and really enjoy it.
 
It inspires a person to paint !
